Overview
Onyx is Markforged's micro carbon fibre filled nylon composite base material. It can be printed on its own or reinforced with any of Markforged's continuous fibres and is noted for its surface finish, chemical resistance and heat tolerance.

Characteristics
- High tempHeat deflection temperature of 100 °C or more — keeps its shape in hot environments.
- Chemical resistantRated "Good" against at least four of the five chemical groups tested, or described as chemical resistant on the datasheet.
- Carbon fiberReinforced with carbon fiber for extra stiffness and a matte finish.
